Jayme started her career as a telemarketer for the Michigan State University Development Fund while attending MSU. Her love for mentoring and building relationships, based on trust, also began to flourish. Having been in the media industry for 20 years, she has learned the importance of multi-platform marketing strategies and passes that expertise on to her clients.
She helped grow businesses as an account manager at WLNS TV 6, WLAJ ABC 3 and Radio One, and Jayme directed the marketing efforts of numerous businesses and organizations throughout Central Michigan. Jayme started Taylor*d Marketing & Consulting in 2015, and the company, under her leadership, has flourished. Jayme’s thorough understanding of a wide variety of media as well as her undeniable professionalism and strong media partnerships make it possible for her to present clients with the best solutions to their marketing needs. More important, she brings great energy and insight to every project and relationship she develops.
Jayme is the mother of three boys and resides in Okemos with her husband Jeff. She has been an active volunteer with organizations such as the Okemos High School Parent Group, Women’s Forum, Kinawa Parent Group, and Capital Area United Way. In her spare time she enjoys running, reading, watching her boys play sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Cheryl discovered her love of gathering information and facts while attending Spring Arbor University and was nervous, yet excited, to use her new-found passion when asked to implement a work-site wellness program at General Motors. She immediately went to work researching work-site wellness, as she had no experience in this relatively new industry. Through a strategic relationship with experts at Michigan State University, Cheryl successfully executed, developed and marketed programs to a diverse GM population. To this day, she is forever grateful for the MSU’s mentor-ship that shaped her desire to learn and grow. The work-site wellness program became a model for other General Motors’ facilities.
In her spare time, Cheryl loves to garden, golf, fish, walk, read and most of all spend time with her family.
Cheryl will use the same level of passion to research, study and learn in her desire to meet the needs of Taylor*d Marketing’s clients!
LaRay’s exuberance for life has benefited her throughout her career. With a Bachelor of Science degree from MSU, LaRay continued her education with courses in writing, design, marketing and public administration, earning a Certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. She has extensive experience in helping businesses and organizations communicate their goals to targeted audiences. She is skilled in product promotion and event planning; writing, designing, producing and distributing printed and electronic marketing materials; and analyzing, tracking, and researching data. She is proficient in Microsoft Office and Corel as well as fluent in desktop publishing programs.
LaRay’s career experiences include working for the Marketing Department at MSU College of Law, managing an annual $400,000 budget; hiring, training, and supervising employees; and writing and producing recruitment materials and fundraising campaigns. LaRay also planned and evaluated the success of business-development events for a local law firm as well as assisted attorneys with acquiring clients, and managing more than 90 accounts. She also coordinated the development and distribution of publications for targeted practice areas; and kept the firm’s website updated.
Balance is at the heart of LaRay’s life—maintaining her professional and personal lives with harmony and optimism. She and her husband have three sons who fill their lives with joy in addition to opening up opportunities to help other working parents and children. She worked for a local non-profit, writing and designing their publication, Potpourri; At the Family Services/Foster Care Review Board of the Michigan Supreme Court Administrative Offices, LaRay provided comprehensive communication services; and for the Nyaka Aids Orphan Project, managed their social media. LaRay brings to Taylor*d Marketing and its clients the same enthusiasm and expertise she has demonstrated throughout her professional and personal life.
